Mandela Washington Young African Leaders

The Independence Project was delighted to meet with the Mandela Washington Young African Leaders. This session on ‘Declaring Independence in the Black Atlantic’ discussed the works of black writers in the Age of Jefferson. It was led by Professor John Coffey and chaired by Professor Sylvia Frey in discussion with the 2015 Young African Leaders.
